# SOCKS5 Proxy

SOCKS5 proxy is a powerful network tool that can establish a secure communication channel between the client and the target server. 

Here is a detailed guide on SOCKS5 proxy settings for Swiftproxy:

1. Log in and enter the User Center, click to enter the User Center. 👉 [Enter the User Center](https://www.swiftproxy.net/user/ucenter)
2. Click "Residential Proxies"

* In **Username:Password**, the proxy generation supports HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 protocols by default.
* In "**API Acquisition**", select "SOCKS5" for Proxy Protocol when configuring the proxy
